Shine a Light on Your Group’s Achievements!

Calling all APCUG member groups!
Showcase your communication excellence and compete in the 2024 APCUG Newsletter Contest! This is your chance to earn recognition for your efforts to keep members informed and engaged.

Who Can Enter
The contest is open to all APCUG member groups.

Contest Dates
Entry Period: September 2 to September 27. Entries received after September 27 will not be considered.
All entries will receive an acknowledgment email.

Prizes
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners: Each winning group will receive a certificate, prize, and the 2024 Newsletter Contest logo to display in future editions.
Winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting on November 9.

What We’re Looking For
Informative Content:
Does your newsletter provide valuable and current information to your members?      Announcements, member spotlights, tech updates, and engaging articles are all welcome!
Visual Appeal: Is your newsletter visually appealing and easy to navigate?
Functionality: Do all links, images, and interactive elements work properly?

How to Enter
1.  Choose Your Format
PDF newsletters emailed to members, or website links emailed to members
Online-only newsletters
Printed newsletters (mailed to members)

2.  Save Your Newsletters 
Use the following naming convention:
Group Name (not acronym)>Name of Newsletter>Month 2024

3.  Submit Your Entry 
Email: Send a PDF copy of two different 2024 newsletters to newslettercontest (at) apcug.org
Subject Line: Newsletter Contest – [Your Group Name] Email Body: Include the name and email address of the newsletter editor and the dates of the two newsletters.
Online Newsletters: Forward URL addresses for two (2) different copies of your newsletter to the email address above, and include the same information in the subject line and body of the message.
Printed Newsletters Only: Mail two (2) different copies of your newsletter to:

Send an email to newslettercontest (at) apcug.org with Newsletter Contest and [Your Group’s Name] as the subject
Include the name and email address of the newsletter editor and the dates of the two (2) newsletters in the body of the email. Plus, the date the newsletters were mailed.
