Joe Kissell is a best-selling, award-winning, hyphen-overusing author and technologist. His company bought Take Control Books in 2017. He writes about a variety of interesting things, including Macs and iOS devices, and enjoys making complicated topics easy to understand. He is also a dad, husband, editor, computer geek, cook, punster, amateur scientist, storyteller, martial artist, and dreamer. He likes to think of himself as a generalist rather than a specialist. Joe grew up in the U.S., married a Canadian, spent more than five years in Paris, and now lives in San Diego.
