Does your website effectively connect with your members, the broader tech community, and prospective members? Showcase your online presence and compete in the 2024 APCUG Website Contest!
Who Can Enter: The contest is open to all active APCUG member groups.
Contest Dates
Entry Period: September 2 to September 27. Entries received after September 27 will not be considered.
Entries will receive an email acknowledgment.
Prizes
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Winners: Each winning group will receive a certificate, prize, and 2024 Website Contest logo to display on their website.
Winners will be announced at the Annual Meeting on November 9.
What we are looking for
We are looking for websites that excel in overall user experience, informative content, and visual appeal. We will evaluate entries based on their accessibility to all users, clarity of purpose and information, originality and engagement, ease of navigation, and overall design aesthetic.
How to Enter
Submit your website URL to websitecontest (at) apcug.org
Email Subject Line: Website Contest – [Your Group Name]
Email Body: Please include the name and website admin’s email address
Password-Protected Areas: If your website has restricted areas, please include temporary access credentials in the Google form (these will be used only for judging purposes and deleted after the contest).
Judging Criteria
Accessibility: Is your website easy to access for everyone?
Communication: Does your website convey its purpose and information?
Creativity & Content: Does your website stand out with original ideas and engaging content?
Organization & Navigation: Is your website well-organized and easy to navigate?
Visual Presentation & Design: Is your website visually appealing and user-friendly?
