Stew Bottorf
Chromebook and Cut Cable SIG Leader, Tampa Bay Technology Center, Florida
In the 1980’s Stew bought a used CP/M computer and learned to use it productively from the command line. He progressed into DOS, Windows and Linux operating systems. About 1990 he joined the local PC Users Group which today is the Tampa Bay Technology Center. Stew worked 17 years designing analog aircraft instrumentation and later with computer hardware / software support in education. His final position was network administrator at a private high school. Now retired, he’s led Open Source and Linux SIGs at the club. Stew now leads the Chromebook and Cut Cable SIGs.
